Local Tips For KT-22

Missing the cookies

“I spend most of my time traveling. The things I miss the most about home are making laps on KT and then going to Wildflour for a chocolate chip cookie.”
Ingrid Backstrom, pro skier

Favorite line

“Nose to Fingers is my favorite line at Squaw. From the top of the KT-22 Express lift, follow the ridge that parallels the chair until it steepens. From there, go right to pick your way through Coleman’s area via lines like Coleman’s Alternate and Railroad, which have tight chutes and mandatory airs. Or spot the clump of trees, which marks the takeoff for Booger Rock; then carry your speed through the flats to the Fingers. It’s a series of steep chutes and spines with true Squallywood visibility (it’s right under the chair).”
JT Holmes

Spirit of Squaw

"Chute 75 is hidden and it feels like it has the spirit of Squaw. And the west face is just so fun. It's so fun to ski all over it, from top to bottom, no stopping, and whoooshhh, so fun."
Grace Smith, 11 years old
