Cancellation policies are seasonal. Please see below for current details.

Deposit / Final Payment:

Summer/Fall 2020 (May 31-November 25, 2020)

A deposit of one (1) night room and tax is due at the time of booking. Final payment inclusive of all taxes and fees is due 24 hours prior to guest arrival.  If the reservation is booked inside 24 hours from arrival full payment is due at the time of booking.

Winter 2020-21 (November 26, 2020 - April 15, 2021, Excluding Christmas/New Year's Holiday)

A deposit of two (2) nights room and tax is due at the time of booking. Final payment inclusive of all taxes and fees is due 7 days prior to guest arrival.  If the reservation is booked inside 7 days from arrival full payment is due at the time of booking.

Holiday (December 19, 2020 - January 2, 2021)

A deposit of two (2) nights room and tax is due at the time of booking. Final payment inclusive of all taxes and fees is due 30 days prior to guest arrival.  If the reservation is booked inside 30 days from arrival full payment is due at the time of booking.

Summer/Fall 2021 (April 16-November 24, 2021, Excluding Holidays)

A deposit of two (2) night room and tax is due at the time of booking. Final payment inclusive of all taxes and fees is due 5 days prior to guest arrival.  If the reservation is booked inside 5 days from arrival full payment is due at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Of Summer/Fall Reservations (April 15, 2020-November 25, 2020)

Must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancellation fees.  Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to guest arrival date will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees).

Cancellation Of Winter Reservations (November 26, 2020 - April 15, 2021, Except Holiday As Below):

Must be cancelled at least 14 days prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 14 days but more than seven (7) days prior to guest arrival date will forfeit an amount equal to Two (2) night's room rate (plus applicable taxes and fees). Cancellations made less than seven (7) days prior to guest arrival will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees).

Cancellation Of Holiday Reservations (For December 19, 2020 - January 2, 2021):

Must be cancelled at least 30 days prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to guest arrival date will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees).

Cancellation Of Summer/Fall Reservations (April 16-November 24, 2021):

Must be cancelled at least 5 days prior to guest arrival date in order to avoid cancelation fees.  Cancellations made less than 5 day prior to guest arrival date will result in full forfeiture of entire reservation value (including applicable taxes and fees).

Other Details
  • We will certainly do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have, though, due to some limitations, we can't always honor all wishes. Please contact the front desk for more information.
  • Please note that The Village at Squaw Valley does not have central air conditioning. To alleviate this issue, we have portable air conditioning units in most of the rooms, however, this is not as efficient and cooling as central air conditioning. The temperatures at night are cool, ranging on average between 40 and 55 degrees. You will find that opening your window and using the fan cools the room should you find the temperature uncomfortable.
  • Quiet hours in the Village at Squaw Valley are from 10pm to 8am.
  • The Village at Squaw Valley will provide daily trash and towel service. This means your trash will be removed on a daily basis, and all towels not hung up will be replaced. After the third night, we will do a full clean including replacing linens on the bed if a replacement card is placed on the bed, make beds, vacuum, dishes, full clean in the bathroom, and all supplies replenished.
