Tuesday we see strong winds to 80 mph up top, increasing clouds, and a chance of showers as a storm brushes us. Highs drop back into the 40's on the upper mountain and 50's at the base.
Wednesday we may see nice weather during the day but it will continue to be windy with upper mountain gusts to 60+ mph.
Wednesday night into Thursday a cold storm could bring several inches of snow to all elevations. Highs Thursday may only be in the 20's and 30's. The early forecast is for 4-8 inches at the base, and 6-12 inches on the mountain by Thursday afternoon, most of that falling Wednesday night so Thursday should be a powder day.
Friday into Sunday next weekend we could see some sun with temperatures rebounding into the 40's and 50's by Saturday.
Another cold storm looks like it will move in Sunday night into Monday bring colder air and more snow. Amounts could be similar to the storm Wednesday night. That could be followed by another storm around the 18th-19th.
The weather pattern may become more quiet the last week of the month.
