Weaker Storms Ahead

Snowfall Report:

The mountain picked up 2-6 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours. That brings the 2-day storm total to 6-9 inches on the upper mountain, and 4 inches at the base. The season total is now at 66-76 inches on the upper mountain.

Drier Pattern:

Thursday through the weekend high pressure will build in over the West Coast bringing us a dry weekend with some sun Friday through Sunday. Highs in the 30's Thursday and Friday, but warming into the 40's for the weekend.

Monday Storm:

The next storm should push in on Monday through Monday night. This storm is weakening and splitting as it moves into CA.  Right now amounts look light with only 1-2 inches for the mountain at best. We could see strong wind gusts up top on Monday.

Long-Range:

We are in a split flow pattern next week. After a break in storms midweek, the next storm moving in around Friday the 14th may weaken and split just like the Monday storm.
