[Olympic Valley, Calif.] May 18, 2017 – The Village at Squaw Valley is excited to welcome summer with the return of popular and free family friendly events, offering activities and entertainment midweek throughout the season. Returning for the 8th year in a row, Bluesdays begin Tuesday, June 13. Yoga Squaw’d and the Outdoor Summer Movie Series both begin immediately following 4th of July weekend. Perfect for locals and summer-vacationers alike, Bluesdays, Yoga Squaw’d and the Outdoor Summer Movie Series are complimentary and occur on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings respectively in The Village at Squaw Valley.
Bluesdays—Tuesdays this summer from June 13 through September 5
This popular and free outdoor concert series at the Village at Squaw Valley features acclaimed blues musicians, great grab and go food offerings from Village restaurants and a Blues bar with beer, wine and spirits available in the Events Plaza. During the summer Bluesdays visitors receive discounted High Camp Experience packages, food and drink specials, and lodging sales every Tuesday. Bluesdays blends in beautifully with High Notes, North Lake Tahoe’s summerlong music series, which brings music outdoors with live performances every night of the week. Yoga Squaw’d—Wednesdays this summer from July 5 through August 31
Ideal for beginners and seasoned yogis alike, Yoga Squaw’d returns to the Village celebrating the art of yoga against a magnificent mountain backdrop. Particpants breathe and stretch under the sun outside Wanderlust Yoga studio. These complimentary classes take place from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday and are taught by inspiring local yoga instructors each week. Free Outdoor Summer Movie Series—Thursdays this summer from July 7 through August 31
Snuggle up under the stars with family and friends in The Village at Squaw Valley while enjoying new releases and favorite family classics on the big screen in the Events Plaza. The free outdoor movie takes place each summer Thursday at 8:30 p.m., weather permitting. Blankets and warm clothes are recommended as Lake Tahoe area can be chilly once the sun goes down. Ski Free this Spring at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows with the 2017-18 Tahoe Super Pass

Visit High Camp via the Aerial Tram at Squaw Valley
The Aerial Tram at Squaw Valley will be open daily from 10:40 a.m. to 4:20 p.m., with the last download at 5 p.m., from May 27-September 4, September 9-10 and September 16-17. Enjoy an aerial climb over 2,000 feet from the base of Squaw Valley to High Camp, located at 8,200 feet, with 360 degree views of Lake Tahoe’s high alpine. For endless fun, enjoy daily activities at High Camp including hiking trails, the Olympic Museum, dining, shopping, Poolside Umbrella Bar, disc golf, lawn games, and more.
