15,625 retired staff jackets and pants donated to developing countries
From 2009 - 2019, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows has donated 15,625 retired uniform jackets and pants to National Ski Areas Association’s (NSAA) Sharing Warmth Around the Globe (SWAG) and to other natural disaster relief efforts, including 2,000 to the victims of the 2015 earthquake in Nepal. The SWAG organization coordinates the distribution of old ski uniforms each year to those in need in cold weather countries around the world.
