The weather is going to change this weekend with the first significant storm of 2015 on the way.
Expecting the first storm to arrive by Friday afternoon bringing us heavy precip Friday night into Saturday. Snow levels look like they will lower to around 8,000 feet Friday night or possibly slightly lower. We could see over a foot of snow fall with this first storm above 8,000 feet.
The precip may continue Saturday night into Sunday with snow levels rising to around 9,000 ft. Then Sunday night into Monday the second storm moves through bringing more heavy precip and falling snow levels. Expecting snow levels to be around 8,000 feet Sunday night during the heaviest precip before falling close to the base Monday before the storm ends.
In total for the weekend we could see 2-3 feet of heavy snow above 8,000 feet on the mountain. Several inches are possible below that on Monday as the cold front moves through before the system moves away.
After that we are expecting another week of quiet weather before we could see some colder weather and colder storms by the end of the 3rd week of February.
