Squaw Valley | Alpine Meadows to Open Top to Bottom Skiing and Riding, Offering the Most Terrain and Variety in Tahoe
• Mountain Run at Squaw Valley will open with 3.2 miles of freshly groomed skiing and riding

[Olympic Valley, Calif.] Dec. 7, 2017 – Following nearly 100 hours of snowmaking since Sunday, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows will add new lifts and terrain beginning tomorrow. Squaw Valley will open for top to bottom skiing via Mountain Run as well as the Red Dog and Squaw Creek chairs, expanding Squaw Valley’s lower-mountain terrain offerings. Alpine Meadows will add the Meadow Chair and Big Carpet, expanding the mountain's beginner offering. With these additions, both Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are open for top to bottom skiing daily from 9am to 4pm. The resort has 21 lifts with access to more than 65 trails including terrain for all ages and abilities, plus a total of 26 features in the Belmont and Gold Coast terrain parks at Squaw Valley. The SnoVentures Activities Zone at Squaw Valley is also open for tubing from 11am-4pm Friday, Dec. 8 through Sunday, Dec. 10, and will open permanently beginning Friday, Dec. 15.
Learn to Ski and Ride Special, Dec. 9 and 10
Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are celebrating the opening of the 2017-18 season by offering first-time, beginner guests a chance to learn skiing or snowboarding for only $99. Tahoe Super Pass Prices Good Through Dec. 12
Skiers and riders looking to gain access to 6,000 acres, 42 lifts and over 270 trails at both Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows can purchase the Tahoe Super Pass, starting at $560 for adults. Season pass prices increase up to $150 after Dec. 12.
