Storm Warning Friday Night - Saturday Morning

The season total for our upper mountains so far is 113" of snow! Fun fact: Last year, in our record-breaking season, we didn't even have 100" of snow until January. Thanks to Mother Nature's generosity and the hard work of our operations teams, both Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are skiing top-to-bottom. We are expecting the bulk of this storm to move in on Friday night, and could receive up to another FOOT of snow on our upper mountains by Saturday morning. Thankfully, Sunday looks like a clear travel day.

NEW this weekend

Please be aware that there will be chain controls, slow-moving traffic and road closures as the snow flies starting on Friday evening. Check out the weather, road status, snow reports, and lift status as we move into a dynamic weather pattern. Here are some helpful tips & links to help you save your weekend and time your travel accordingly. Please travel safely!
