The weekend forecast is calling for sunny skies, mild temperatures and more lifts & terrain opening for your shredding pleasure!
Following cold temperatures and nearly 100 hours of snowmaking since Sunday, our mountain operations teams will add even more lifts to the schedule tomorrow!
- At Squaw Valley, Red Dog and Squaw Creek chairs will open tomorrow for fun groomers right off the base area. Open trails will be Champs Elysees to Red Dog Face and Lake View.
- At Alpine Meadows, Meadow Chair and Big Carpet have been added to the schedule for even more beginner terrain.
Top to Bottom Skiing at Both Mountains

With Mountain Run opening tomorrow, you can ski top to bottom at Squaw Valley! Once you get your fill of upper mountain fun, cruise down the 3.2 mile groomed Mountain Run. Now you can ski down to the base, click out of your skis and grab a cold one at the KT Base Bar, which will be open Saturday & Sunday serving drinks only. You can also ride top to bottom at Alpine Meadows via Summit Chair!

Starting tomorrow, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows will have a total of 21 lifts & carpets operating daily as conditions allows. This means we have the most open lifts and trails in Tahoe right now! From mellow beginner trails, to perfect corduroy and adventurous off-piste pitches, we have something for every snow lover to enjoy.

$99 Learn to Ski & Ride Special
Winter is just kicking off and it's the perfect time to learn to ski or snowboard! This Saturday and Sunday you can learn for just $99 when you book in advance. The special package is available for 3+ for skiing and 5+ for snowboarding, and includes everything you need to get started - beginner lift ticket, 2.25 hour lesson and equipment rentals. Details>>
