We will see sunny weather Friday into Sunday with highs in the 40's Friday, warming into the 50's Saturday.
Sunday we could see some clouds later in the day and highs on the upper mountain cooling into the 40's. Winds are expected to increase Sunday ahead of the next storm, with ridgetop gusts to 70+ mph by afternoon. That will likely close some upper mountain lifts.
A weak system Sunday night could brush us with a few scattered showers with snow levels above 8,000 feet.
The next system for Monday into Monday night has been trending farther south and wetter. We could see rain and snow showers increase through the day. Snow levels lowering to around 7,000 feet in the morning and to the base by evening. Snow showers could linger into Tuesday night with snow levels lowering below the base.
We could see 1-3 inches at the base by Tuesday morning, and 4-7 inches of snow on the mountain above 7,000 feet. Winds are expected to be strong on Monday likely closing some upper mountain lifts. Gusty winds could linger into Tuesday but not as strong as Monday.
High pressure begins to build back in Tuesday and continues through the end of next week. We should see the sun return with temperatures warming through the week into 50's for highs.
There's a chance we could see a system the weekend of the 20th bring a few scattered showers, but then we could go back into a dry pattern through the last week of April.
