Sunny and cold today with light winds and highs in the 20's on the mountains.
Tuesday through Friday the dry weather continues and temperatures warm into the 40's. Winds should begin to pick up on Friday ahead of the next storm.
New Year's Weekend
Friday night into New Year's Eve we may see a cold trough drop down from the North with colder air and snow. The forecast models are in disagreement on whether the storm tracks down to our East and is dry, or tracks down over the Sierra and we see several inches of snow. We will continue to track it all week.
Another cold storm may drop down from the North right behind it on Sunday. Not all the models agree, but the majority show more cold and an chance for more light snow.
The Week of the 2nd
The forecast models are in disagreement again on whether we will see a strong storm move in off the Pacific on Monday the 2nd, or colder/drier storms continue to move down from the North next week. Again, we will continue to update as we get closer.
