Thursday - Saturday:
Mostly sunny skies expected Thursday - Saturday. Temperatures warming into the 50s at the base and 40s on the upper mountain through Saturday. Winds are lighter Thursday - Friday but could increase from the southwest through the day on Saturday gusting up to 60+ mph up top by afternoon possibly affecting some lifts.
Cold Front Sunday:
Sunday a cold front moves through from the north. We could see a quick shot of snow with the front with only a dusting expected at best. Highs drop into the 30s. We will see increasing northeast winds through the day gusting to 70+ mph by afternoon. That may close some upper mountain lifts and will make it feel even colder.
We should see sunny skies again for Monday - Tuesday with highs rebounding into the 40s at the base.
We may see additional weak systems move down from the north throughout the week bringing shots of colder air. We could see a system Wednesday and again next Friday - Saturday. Wednesday's system looks dry with a chance of light snow possible with the Friday - Saturday systems. Highs cooling back into the 30s by midweek.
No significant storms in the long-range outlook currently, but we will let you know as soon as there are.
