Friday - Saturday:
Mostly sunny skies expected Friday - Saturday. Temperatures warming into the 50s at the base and 40s on the upper mountain through Saturday. Winds are lighter through Friday but could increase from the southwest through the day on Saturday gusting up to 60+ mph up top by afternoon possibly affecting some lifts.
Cold Front Sunday:
Sunday a cold front moves through from the north. We could see a quick shot of snow with the front with only a dusting expected at best. Highs drop into the 30s. We will see increasing northeast winds through the day gusting to 70+ mph by afternoon. That may close some upper mountain lifts and will make it feel even colder.
We should see sunny skies again for Monday - Thursday with highs rebounding into the 40s.
We may see a couple of weak systems move down from the north next Friday & Sunday bringing shots of colder air and a chance for light snow.
The drier pattern may continue into the week of the 17th. Currently, there are no significant storms in the long-range outlook, but we will let you know as soon as there are.
