Scattered snow showers over the mountain overnight dropped a coating to an inch of new snow over the mountain.
Temperatures stay cool for Monday, in the 30s on the mountain to near 40 at the base for highs. A system sitting off the coast continues to stream clouds and some moisture into the area. That will bring sun & clouds with the chance for a few more scattered snow showers for Monday. SW winds gusting up to 30+ mph up top.
Tuesday - Thursday:
Sun & clouds continue through Thursday. Highs into the 40s on the upper mountain to near 50 degrees at the base. Light east winds.
We may see a mostly sunny day on Friday with highs in the 40s on the mountain and 50s at the base.
Expecting increasing clouds and winds Saturday ahead of the next storm. We are tracking a cold system for the weekend that will move down from the north. That could bring us light snow by Saturday afternoon with heavier snow possible Saturday night into Sunday.
We will be watching the potential track all week and its implications on potential snowfall amounts. If the storm tracks over land we may only see up to several inches of snow, but if it tracks off the coast pulling in more moisture we could see significant snowfall.
