Forecast Through the Weekend:
The weather will be sunny and mild Wednesday through Sunday. Highs will be in the 40's on the upper mountain and 50's at the base.
The winds may pickup up high Saturday into Sunday as a system moves through to our North. It is possible we see a flake or two Sunday night, but mostly just expecting some clouds.
Next week we should remain dry through Tuesday. The temperatures may cool a few degrees for highs behind the system Sunday night.
Next Wedneday-Thursday we may see the first storm of the new year move in. Right now it is too early to have a lot of confidence or look at the details.
The good news is that there is increasing agreement and consistency in the forecast models that we could see snow next Wednesday-Thursday, so we will continue to track that.
It's possible that we could be transitioning into a stormier pattern after that. Right now all signs point towards more storms into the middle of January, so we will continue to watch that as well.
