Wednesday high pressure builds in over CA with highs warming into the 40's. Winds becoming light. Expecting a dry pattern to last through Friday but increasing clouds possible on Friday ahead of the weekend storm.
Saturday the next storm moves in with gusty winds, colder air, and snow becoming heavy by Saturday night. Sunday the storm departs but we could have lingering snow showers.
Based on the latest runs we could see 1-2 feet of snow Saturday through Sunday from top to bottom.
The question right now is whether or not a 2nd storm moves in Sunday night into Monday or it stays to our north. We could see no additional snow, light snow, or heavy snow depending on the track of the 2nd system, so we will be tracking that closely.
A weakening system could bring light snow next Wednesday. A final weakening system could split apart as it moves in next Friday.
Then we could transition to a drier pattern going into mid-month.
