Snow Moves In Tonight and Could Last All Week

Category: Weather
Sunday Night thru Tuesday

Cold with snow Sunday night through Monday night. Highs only in the 20's Monday with mountain top wind gusts to 50+ mph. Snow showers should last into Tuesday morning with not much break before the next storm starts to move in Tuesday afternoon.  By Tuesday afternoon we could see 6-12 inches at the base, and 1-2 feet on the mountain.

2nd Storm Tuesday Night thru Wednesday Night

Tuesday night into Wednesday a stronger storm moves in. Snow levels may come up to 7000 feet on Wednesday. We could see up to a foot at the base before a change to rain. On the mountain above 7000 feet we could see 1.5 - 3 feet of additional snowfall.

More Storms Thursday-Friday?

The forecast models disagree on whether the storms continue Thursday and Friday, or we see a break. If they continue we could see more rain and snow with rising and falling snow levels.

Strong Storm Next Weekend?

Next weekend a strong storm looks like it could move in. It looks like it will start warm with snow levels around 8000 feet, and then end colder Sunday into Monday as a colder storm works in from the North.
