A storm is approaching the area. We will see snow showers develop along with gusty winds by this afternoon. Overnight into Monday morning a steadier snow will begin to fall. By Monday afternoon we are expecting to see 3-6 inches of new snow on the mountain.
Light snow showers may linger into Tuesday with cool air hanging around. By Wednesday high pressure builds in and we should see warming temps and sun into next weekend. There may be a system trying to push into the West coast by next weekend but it should weakend as it encounters the ridge of high pressure.
By the end of the month a trough may have a better chance of pushing into the West Coast with a possibility of more active weather the first week of April.
