We picked up 1-2 inches of fresh snow overnight from a weak system that moved through. That brings the season total to over 15 feet of snow.
We have high pressure in place for a week with sunny skies and highs in the 20's through Sunday. It will be a little breezy up top for a couple days.
We are waiting on a new pattern that should develop by next week. The high pressure ridge will shift North from Alaska to Western Canada next week with the storms breaking underneath into CA in classic El Nino fashion.
The question will be the exact track of the storms into Central or Southern CA. Too far South and we won't get much snow. The forecast models are all in agreement on the pattern but it's too far out to know the exact track of storms next week.
It does look like a train of storms will line up aimed at CA with the first one as early as next Monday. That will be our focus going forward!
