Monday - Tuesday:
We should see increasing clouds and winds on Monday. We could see light rain showers by later in the day with snow levels up around 9,500 feet. Steadier precipitation is expected to push in Monday night into Tuesday. Then we should clear out Tuesday night. Strong ridgetop winds could affect some upper mountain lifts Monday afternoon into Tuesday.
Colder air is expected to push in with the heavier precipitation Monday night into Tuesday. Then clearing out by Tuesday night. Snow levels could lower near the base by Tuesday morning. We could see a slushy inch or two of snow at the base, 2-4 inches above 7,000 feet, and 3-6 inches above 8,000 feet by Tuesday evening.
Cold Thursday System:
After a quick break on Wednesday with sun and highs in the 40's, we could see a cold system drop down the West Coast Thursday. That could bring snow showers Thursday afternoon into Friday morning. We could see a coating to an inch of snow on the mountain. Highs in the 30's on the mountain Thursday with gusty winds.
We could see drier weather Friday into Saturday with highs in the 40's on the mountain, warming into the 50's at the base Saturday.
Another cold system could drop down from the north with snow showers Saturday night into Sunday. That could drop highs back into the 40's. A final cold system could drop down from the north next Monday - Tuesday with a chance for snow showers.
There are some signs we could go into a drier pattern beyond mid-month.
