The Weekend:

We could see some scattered showers Saturday with snow levels rising above 7,000 feet.  Not expecting any measurable snow. Ridgetop winds gusting to 40+ mph.  Highs in the 30's on the upper mountain and 40's at the base.

Sunday we should see partly sunny skies and light winds.  Temperatures warm into the 40's on the upper mountain and 50's at the base.

We should see increasing clouds and winds on Monday.  We could see light rain showers by later in the day with snow levels up around 8,500 feet.  Heavier precipitation is expected to push in Monday night into Tuesday.  Then we should clear out Tuesday night.  Strong ridgetop winds could affect some upper mountain lifts Monday afternoon into Tuesday.

Colder air is expected to push in with the heavier precipitation Monday night into Tuesday.  Snow levels could lower to 7,000 feet Monday night, and then near the base by the time the storm is winding down Tuesday afternoon.  We could see a dusting to an inch of snow at the base, 2-4 inches above 7,000 feet, and 3-6 inches above 8,000 feet by Tuesday night.

After a quick break on Wednesday, we could see a cold trough could drop down the West Coast starting next Thursday through the weekend of the 13th.  The cold trough could hang around into the beginning of the week of the 15th.

We could see several systems dive into CA through the period.  Each could bring a chance for snow on the mountain.  We will be watching closely to see if we could see any measurable snow from the storms.
