[Olympic Valley, Calif.] August 22, 2018 – Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows is ramping up preparations for the coming 2018-19 winter season, which will officially begin on Friday, November 16, weather and conditions permitting. The 2017-18 season at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows saw 411 inches of snow and a Memorial Day closing day, continuing its tradition of hosting Tahoe’s longest ski and ride season.
With 85 days to go until the lifts start spinning, guests can secure access to Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows and 26 other destinations with the new Ikon Pass. Ikon Pass destinations span four Canadian provinces and nine states, with four in California alone: Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, Mammoth Mountain, June Mountain and Big Bear Mountain Resort.
