A trough has been sitting over the area with moisture causing showers the last couple of days. Snow levels have been above 8000 feet. That will continue with more showers today and again Friday.
Friday night into Saturday a cold trough will dig down the West Coast. That will bring colder air and drop snow levels near 6500 feet. We could see several inches of snow accumulate on the mountain Friday night into Saturday. The snowfall should taper off by Saturday afternoon. Right now estimates are 6-12 inches on the mountain.
Sunday the sun returns for closing day.
