A drier pattern for MLK weekend. High pressure builds in over CA with partly sunny skies, high clouds, and lighter winds. Highs into the 30s on the upper mountain and 40s at the base Saturday - Monday.
We have the chance for a weak storm Tuesday that could bring 2- inches of snow to the mountain. Expecting strong winds with this system. Ridgetop winds could be gusting to 80+ mph Tuesday, likely closing some upper mountain lifts. Highs in the 30s.
We may see a drier pattern Wednesday through Saturday with partly sunny skies and high clouds. Temperatures may warm back into the 40s at the base.
The next chance for a storm looks to be Sunday the 26th. So we will continue to track that.
