The weather this weekend is beautiful with light winds, sun, and temperatures in the 40's.
That will change quickly by Tuesday as a strong cold front moves through. Winds will start to pick up on the mountain by Sunday afternoon through Monday. Tuesday morning the cold front approaches with snow breaking out. Expecting plummeting temperatures and snow Tuesday into Tuesday night with 6-12 inches of snow possible on the mountain by Wednesday morning.
Low pressure will continue to send waves of light snowfall through the region through Thursday. We could see another 1-3 inches on Wednesday and very light amounts Thursday before the storm moves out. Temperatures Tuesday through the end of the week will be cold with highs only in the 20's to the base, and teens up top.
The weather forecast models beyond a week are all over the place with what the weather patterns will do. There is a chance we could see another storm the weekend of the 28th. If not more storms may push in the following week.
