High pressure is dominating the weather pattern this weekend. Lots of sun and highs in the 40's on Saturday. Some gusty east winds in the morning should subside through the day. Sunny again Sunday with highs up into the 50's!
The Week Ahead:
The weather looks to remain dry through at least Tuesday. Wednesday a weak system tries to push in but it looks like it will have little success. We could see some clouds, slightly cooler temperatures, and the chance of a few showers with snow levels around 8,000 feet.
Then cooler weather possible Thursday ahead of another approaching storm. Some forecast models show a decent storm moving in Friday into next Saturday. Others show it moving through to our north. We will be watching this system the next few days to see if we could see some rain and snow next weekend.
The weather pattern could remain active through the first week of February and possibly into the 2nd week. We could see some cold systems drop down from the north as well as some storms move in off the Pacific.
We will continue to keep an eye on the pattern and let you know when the next measurable snow will fall on the mountain!
