The weak system moving through Christmas Day brought a fresh inch of snow to the mountain.
Thursday into the Weekend:
We have clouds and some fog Thursday morning that should clear out during the afternoon. Highs in the 20s on the upper mountain and 30s at the base. We have gusty east winds with gusts of 30-40 mph across the ridges.
High pressure builds in Friday - Saturday bringing us a drier pattern. We also warm into the 30s for highs on the mountain for the weekend. Expecting sunny skies and nice weather through Saturday with lighter winds
There is the chance for another weak system Sunday into Sunday night that could bring more snow showers. We will be watching this system over the next few days to see if we will only see a dusting, or maybe up to a few inches of fresh snow. Winds Sunday could become gusty again.
Next week we are expecting a drier pattern as high pressure builds off the West Coast. We may start cold and see some warming through the week.
We will be watching for any pattern changes that could bring bigger storms in January.
