After the cold and snow in December we have transitioned into a quiet pattern for a couple of weeks.
High pressure will be building along the West Coast this weekend with temperatures warming back into the 30's on the mountains and then the 40's next week.
A storm will weakend as it encounters the ridge on Thursday into Friday. We may still see a snow shower or two if the system comes far enough South, but for now it looks like most of the precip will stay to our North.
Another system may do the same thing next Sunday.
High pressure looks like it may hold strong along the West Coast through mid-month. The next chance for a pattern change back to storms currently looks to be the 3rd week of the month. We will continue to watch that.
