After a very cold stretch of weather we will see more seasonal temps this week with highs in the 30's up top and 40's at the base. We will see some clouds for Monday as a weak system falls apart as it moves inland. We could still see some light snow flurries or snow showers on the mountain Monday afternoon.
Tuesday and Wednesday we see sun as we have high pressure briefly build over the area. Then on Thursday the winds pick up and clouds move in as the next storm approaches.
We could see light snow showers on the mountain Thursday ahead of the main cold front that will push in by evening. Thursday evening and Thursday night we are expecting moderate snowfall as the front moves through, and then tapering off by Friday morning.
We could see 6-12 inches of snow fall on the mountains by Friday morning, with 3-6 inches in the Village.
We should see a break Friday and Saturday before a weak system may push in light snowfall Sunday into Monday.
Next week it looks like we should have a break until at least Thursday with the forecast models currently split on whether or not we see a storm next Thursday.
