Squaw picked up another 2 inches yesterday of wet snow during a mild day with fluctuating snow levels. Today the winds are strong up top ahead of the next storm that will move in tonight.
Light rain showers are possible today with highs near 40 at the base and light snow up top with highs in the mid 30's.
Then tonight heavier precip pushes in with the next storm and snow levels should drop below base level. By Monday morning we could see 3-5 inches at base level and 5-10 inches on the mountain.
Then a break Monday afternoon and night before the next storm moves in on Tuesday. This storm looks to have rising snow levels to start before falling at the end. We could see another 5-10 inches on the mountain above 7000 feet.
We should have a break Wednesday and Thursday with mild air before the next storm moves in Friday. High temperatures should be around 40 at the base, and mid 30's on the mountain.
The active pattern should continue next weekend into the following week.
The winds will be strong with each storm this week, gusting to 60+ mph on the mountain tops. The snow levels through the period look to fluctuating between base level and 8000 feet.
