Mild Start to Weekend, Cold & Snowy Finish

Category: Weather

Sunny & Mild:

Sunny and mild today into Saturday with highs in the 40's.  Lighter winds today with gusts only to 20 mph up top, and up to 30 mph Saturday.

Snowy & Cold:

Sunday into Monday a cold air mass moves in with highs dropping into the 30's Sunday and 20's for Monday.  Strong winds pick up on Sunday so expect some lifts to be impacted up top.

We could see a few inches of snow with the cold front Sunday afternoon into Monday morning.  Early guess is 2-4 inches.  Bundle up on Monday with wind chills making it feel very cold.

Next Week:

Tuesday into the weekend of the 24th we look to be in a cool dry pattern.  Highs will be in the 20's Tuesday and warming into the 30's for the rest of the week.

We continue to watch the week of the 26th as a possible pattern change could allow these cold storms to pick up more moisture before arriving.

If that happens it will be nice to have more snow with each of these cold storms.  Until then we are stuck in a cold dry pattern.
