Mild and sunny weather is in place this weekend will last through Tuesday.
Low pressure moving into the Northeast Pacific this week will push a trough into CA by Wednesday. This will bring cooler air with a chance for light snowfall.
Looking at the current forecast model runs we could see a few inches of snow from the system late Tuesday night into Wednesday. Snow levels may start near the base and rise to around 7000 feet Wednesday.
After this system we will have a break Thursday and Friday. By next weekend another system in the Pacific will try to push a trough and light precip into CA next weekend. The precip chances look pretty light currently.
The pattern of storms in the Pacific trying to push light precip into CA looks like it could continue into week 2.
