The weather has been quiet over the last 10 days as high pressure has settled in over the region. That high pressure has moved East and moisture will push up from the South on Tuesday.
Snow levels on Tuesday look to be around 7000 ft. through the day. Very light showers are possible with a dusting of snow on the mountain. If the higher end projections from the computer models pan out we could see an inch or two.
More moisture will try to push North on Friday but may come just short of reaching the Tahoe basin. We will have to watch through the week. If it were to push this far North we could see another dusting of snow.
Next weekend high pressure builds back in and quiet weather returns for the weekend.
Next week storms will start to impact the Pacific NW. It is possible they come far enough South to bring us a dusting of snow a couple of times during the week so well will have to watch that as well.
By the end of next week a stronger trough will try to push near the West Coast. That could bring us a stronger storm so we will definitely be watching the trend on that system.
