Final Storm Report
3 more inches fell early yesterday morning bringing the storm total to 5 inches from the storm. That brought the totals right into our forecast range that we were expecting.
Short Term Forecast
Sunny and cold today with highs near 30 degrees. Winds will gust up to 60 mph on the top peaks.
For the weekend sunny with highs in the upper 30's on the upper mountain to mid 40's down at the base. Mountain top winds could gust to 30 mph each day.
Sunday night a weak system could move through and bring a few flakes of snow. Christmas Day should be sunny with highs near 40 degrees.
Next Tuesday we could see another weak system that could bring a few flakes up to a coating of snow. That system could also bring some colder air dropping high temps into the 30's by the middle of next week.
Wednesday and Thursday next week look to be dry. Then going into the weekend of the 29th some model runs show the possibility of a storm around New Year's Eve.
Not much confidence in any significant storms yet. We will keep an eye on New Year's Eve, but a better chance maybe around the 5th of January.
