Today into Monday
We have some wind gusts over 60 mph this morning which could affect the lift operations today. Highs today only in the 30's with colder wind chills.
A cold front will move through tonight bringing some light snow showers into Monday. Only expecting an inch or two of snow at best as the front is moisture starved.
Much colder air moves in for Monday with highs only in the 20's!
Tuesday into the Weekend
The sun returns and we warm into the 30's for Tuesday. Another cold trough moves in Wednesday keeping highs in the 30's on the upper mountain and 40's near the base into Thursday.
Then a brief warmup with 40's and 50's for Friday and Saturday with lots of sun. Another cold trough could move in next Sunday into Presiden'ts Day bringing some colder air again with the chance for light snow showers.
This pattern of dry cold troughs could continue as high pressure sits off the West Coast.
The hope will be that the ridge of high pressure eventually shifts further away from the coast later in the month. That could allow some of these troughs to tap Pacific moisture and bring us appreciable snowfall.
