Getting Around & Parking during WinterWonderGrass

The 5th annual WinterWonderGrass Tahoe is this weekend. A portion of the parking at Squaw Valley is dedicated to the festival grounds, meaning that there will be less on-site parking available throughout the weekend. Here are some tips to help you navigate:

1. CARPOOL! There are 800 spots in our A Lot designated specifically for carpools with 3+ passengers. Follow signage at the top of Squaw Valley Road. (Motorcycles and 2-passenger cars are also welcome to park in this area.)

2. TART in, WinterWonderBus out. New this year, WinterWonderGrass is offering 3 free late night shuttles between 9:30pm and 1:30am that go from Squaw Valley to Truckee, Tahoe City, and between Squaw and Alpine. Take the local TART bus in to Squaw in the morning and utilize WinterWonderBus to get home safely. See schedule below:

3. Use Mountaineer. Mountaineer is our free app-based shuttle service that will pick you up and drop you off anywhere within Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows. You cannot take Mountaineer between Squaw and Alpine, only within each valley, so if  you would like to go between the two, you can use the Squaw Alpine Express Shuttle
