Dusting of Snow Tuesday, Dry & Warming Pattern through the Weekend

Category: Weather

A weak fast moving system moves through on Tuesday with light snow showers possible during the afternoon and evening.  We could see a dusting to an inch of snow.  Temperatures remain cold dropping into the 20's on the upper mountain, and 30's at the base.  Ridgetop winds could gust to 45+ mph by afternoon.

Wednesday through the Weekend:

We will see a drier pattern with lots of sun starting Wednesday through the weekend.  We stay cold Wednesday with highs in the 20's on the upper mountain and 30's at the base, with a brisk northeast wind.

Thu-Fri we will see lighter winds with highs in the 30's on the upper mountains and 40's at the base.  Then we should see some milder temperatures Sat-Mon with highs into the 40's on the upper mountain and 50's at the base.  It should be a beautiful weekend!

We could see a weak storm push into CA next Tuesday the 19th, possibly followed by some stronger storms through the last week of March.
