Dry Weather Expected to Continue, Looking to Cold Nights for Snowmaking

Category: Weather

Sunny and mild weather expected for Monday and Tuesday. Highs in the 60s and inversions at night with lows near freezing at the base and in the 40s for the upper elevations.

Slighter cooler air possible for Wednesday into the weekend. Highs near 60 degrees at the base and 50s for the upper elevations. Overnight lows in the 20s at the base and near freezing for the upper elevations. That will make for better snowmaking conditions on the lower mountain.

The long-range forecast models show a dry weather pattern possibly persisting through mid-month.

We are watching for a possible change the 3rd week of November. We will continue to watch the long-range and let you know as soon as a stormy pattern looks imminent.
