Dry Through Saturday, Chance of Snow Showers Sunday, Then Dry Again

Category: Weather
Wednesday - Saturday:

We should see mostly sunny skies through Saturday. Lighter winds expected. Highs in the 40s on the mountain to near 50 degrees at the base. Saturday could be partly cloudy as the next system approaches.

Sunday System:

The next system moves down from the north later Saturday night into Sunday. We should at least see slightly colder temperatures in the 30s and gusty winds for Sunday. We could see some light snow showers early Sunday morning into the day on Sunday before clearing Sunday afternoon.

Right now only expecting a dusting up to an inch or two of snow on the mountain through Sunday afternoon.

Next Week:

We should see a dry pattern next week with mostly sunny skies. We start cool with highs in the 30s on the mountain to near 40 at the base Mon - Tue. Then warming the 2nd half of the week into the 40s and maybe near 50 at the base.

Long-Range:

The dry pattern may continue through the weekend of the 22nd and into the week of the 24th.

We are watching the end of the month as the long-range models suggest we could possibly start to see a pattern change, away from the high pressure that has been stuck near the CA coast keeping us dry.
