Dry Midweek, Storms Possible for the Weekend

Category: Weather
Midweek:

Tuesday high pressure builds in.  We should have sun Tuesday and Thursday.  Wednesday we have a chance of clouds and some gusty winds up top as a storm moves through well to our north.  Temperatures over the 3 days are expected to warm into the 40's on the lower mountain.

Next Weekend:

Clouds and winds may increase on Friday ahead of the next storm moving in by Friday night.  This storm looks to weaken as well as it moves into CA.  Right now it looks like we could see a dusting of snow at best from this storm.

We should see a break on Saturday, then another storm looks like it will push in Sunday night into Monday morning.  This storm has the potential to bring several inches of snow if it can hold together.  We will be keeping an eye on it all week.

Long-Range:

A pattern change for the holidays could build high pressure over the Northwest bringing a drier and colder pattern, but storms could break under the high-pressure ridge into CA bringing a wet pattern.  We will have to keep watching that as well.
