Today will be beautiful with lots of sun and highs in the 60's. Then a big switch happens starting Friday as a storm moves in with much cooler temperatures and rain/snow showers.
The snow levels will be above 9000 feet Friday and then lower to around 8000 feet by Saturday morning. The heaviest showers of the weekend could come Saturday as another storm pushes in. We could see a few inches of snow accumulate above 8000 feet on the mountain, with snow level possibly a bit lower than that at times.
Sunday and Monday will be cool with scattered showers. Highs will be around 50 degrees at the base, and near 40 up top Friday through Monday.
After a break next Tuesday a colder storm may push in for Wednesday into Thursday. This storm looks colder and it could drop several inches of snow on the mountain. So we will be tracking this storm closely.
The weekend of the 16th looks dry but then the week of the 18th we could possibly see more storms.
