Cool/Breezy Tue-Wed, Milder Thu-Sat

Category: Weather

For Tuesday we have some clouds and the chance for a few scattered snow showers as a weak system moves through. Highs in the 30s on the mountain. Ridgetop winds gusting to 50+ mph.

Wednesday - Saturday:

We start out cool on Wednesday with east winds gusting up to 40+ mph over the ridges. Expecting mostly sunny skies with temperatures warming into the 40s.

Thursday into the weekend a strong area high pressure builds in over CA. That brings us partly to mostly sunny skies and milder temperatures. Highs warming into the 50s. Expecting lighter winds through Saturday.

Cold Front Sunday:

Sunday we could start mild. Then increasing clouds and winds with a cold front moving through during the afternoon. That will bring us colder air and a chance for a few scattered snow showers as the front moves through.

Early next week we start cold with highs only in the 30s. But the pattern looks to remain dry.

The dry pattern looks like it will continue through the first week of February. We are watching the long-range pattern to see if we could possibly see more active weather the 2nd week of February. The long-range models are split on whether or not that happens.
