Colder Air This Weekend, Chance for Snow Showers Monday

Category: Weather

Sunny & Mild:

Sunny and mild Thursday and Friday with highs in the 50's on the mountain to near 60 down at the base.

Colder Weekend:

Saturday a dry cold front moves through from the North dropping high temperatures into the 40's for the weekend.  There could be some gusty winds on Sunday along with cooler temps.

A Colder Shot with Snow Showers:

Monday into Tuesday another cold front moves through from the North.  This one is colder and could bring some light snow showers with a dusting up to an inch or two on the mountains.

Highs temps may only be in the 30's on the mountain Monday into Tuesday, and 40's at the base.

Long-Range:

High pressure moves back near the West coast by next Wednesday with temperatures warming back into the 40's and 50's, with dry weather continuing into President's Weekend.

We may see another cold trough drop in around President's Day.

We will continue to watch the last week of the month into March to see if a bigger pattern change evolves that brings storms back to CA.
