Cold and windy for Sunday with clouds & sun. We could see a few scattered snow showers pass through. Ridgetop winds gusting to 100+ mph this morning from the northeast. Strong winds will continue today with lift closures on the upper mountain. Highs in the 20s up top and 30s at the base, but the winds will make it feel much colder.
Monday - Thursday:
We should see mostly sunny skies Monday - Thursday. We could still see gusty northeast winds Monday with gusts of 40+ mph up top. Then diminishing Tuesday. Highs in the 30s up top and 40s at the base Monday, 40s Tuesday, and then 50s possible at the base Wednesday - Thursday.
Friday Into President's Weekend:
We may see a couple of weak systems move down from the north Friday & next Sunday bringing shots of colder air and a chance for light snow. We will watch the trend on the track of these systems throughout the week to see if we could get more than a dusting of snow with each.
The drier pattern may continue into the week of the 17th. Currently, there are no significant storms in the long-range outlook, but we will let you know as soon as there are.
