The light snow that moved through overnight dropped 1-2 inches at the base, and 2-3 inches on the upper mountain.
We should see partly sunny skies Wednesday. Highs drop into the 30s at the base and 20s for the upper mountain. Winds look lighter only gusting to 30+ mph up top.
Another weak system moves in during the early morning hours Thursday and clearing out by evening. This one looks slightly wetter and could drop 2-4 inches of new snow on the mountain. Snow levels well below the base. Winds Thursday could gust to 40+ mph up top.
A break Friday with sun and slightly warmer temps. Highs in the 30s on the mountain to near 40 at the base. Winds are lighter in the morning but could increase up top later in the afternoon ahead of the next system.
For the weekend, we could see a cold system bring snow showers early morning through the day on Saturday before ending by evening. Snowfall amounts look light again with this system, maybe 1-2 inches of new snow. Highs in the 30s. We could see gusty winds on Saturday gusting to 60+ mph up top in the morning and 40+ mph in the afternoon. That could bring some wind holds in the morning.
We may see a break for Sunday with cold temps and lighter winds. Then another system could move in Sunday night. Snow showers from the next system could push in by Sunday evening and overnight.
Monday - Tuesday Storms:
Steady snow could linger into Monday morning and then scattered snow showers for the afternoon. Right now, this system looks like it could bring several inches of new snow to the mountain.
A wetter system could push in right on the heels of the Monday storm. We could see snow continue Monday night into Tuesday with several more inches of snow possible. We will fine-tune the details for these storms as we get closer.
We may see a break next Wednesday. Then potentially a stronger storm next Thursday - Friday.
We could see cold and snow showers for MLK weekend. Then a drier pattern is possible the week of the 20th.
