Changes with the weather pattern will begin this week. For the first time this season we could see a colder and unsettled pattern setup.
Starting Tuesday the first trough pushes into the Pacific NW. We will see breezy and colder conditions on the mountain Tuesday through the end of the week, with highs only in the 40's. Thursday morning a system moving through to our North could bring some light snow showers.
By Easter Sunday the trough may begin to deepen down the West Coast bringing even colder air into the following week. We could see light snow develop down to the base next Sunday. Then a stronger storm could drop into CA by the beginning of the following week with more snow.
The pattern could be colder and more unsettled into the 2nd weekend of April. One thing is for sure, the weather will be more interesting the next 2 weeks than it has been. Let's hope for more fresh snow the first 2 weeks of April!
