We picked an additiona 7 inches on top of Squaw yesterday and 4 inches at Alpine. That brings the 2 day storm totals to 13-17 inches.
It is cold and it will stay cold through the weekend as a cold trough is stalled over the area. We could see afternoon snow showers the next few days but not expecting more than a coating of snow each day.
Monday the cold trough shifts East but another storm moves into the West Coast. Right now the forecast models don't agree if the storm even reaches us, and if it does the snowfall amounts look light.
After a break Tuesday and Wednesday another storm may move in next Thursday. The forecast models are also struggling with this storm and how much precip we could see. Right now just expecting a chance for more light snowfall.
The pattern looks to remain active with the possibility of stronger storms the following week.
