We picked up 9-10 inches of new snow on the upper mountains yesterday, and 8-9 inches at the bases of Squaw and Alpine.
The snow showers will continue today with another 2-4 inches possible on the mountains. Light snow showers are possible through Saturday with an additional 2-4 inches possible.
Temperatures will be cold with highs only in the teens and 20's and lows in the teens through Saturday.
On Sunday we warm slightly was we have a break between storms. The next storm may push in as early as Monday. The forecast models still disagree on whether this storm reaches the coast and how much moisture it will bring. We could see a decent snowfall from this storm so we will keep monitoring its track.
The forecast models seem to be in a little better agreement that another storm could move in next Thursday bringing us more snow.
The weather pattern looks to remain active for now which is great news!
