We have beautiful weather for the weekend and the Winter Wondergrass festival. We will see sunny skies with highs in the 40's Saturday and 50's Sunday, with light winds.
Monday - Tuesday Storm:
Clouds and winds increasing on Monday with highs in the 40's. The next storm pushes rain showers by Monday night with rain and snow showers possible into Tuesday before the storm moves out Tuesday night.
Snow levels could start around 9,000 feet Monday evening and then fall to around 7,000 feet for Tuesday. Above 7,000 feet on the mountain, we could see 2-4 inches of wet snow by Tuesday night, and 4-7 inches above 8,000 feet, with rain expected at the base.
We should see a break Wednesday with partly sunny skies and highs in the 40's.
A weak system moving through Thursday - Thursday night could brush us with light rain showers. Snow levels up around 7,000 feet. We could see 3-6 inches on the mountain.
A stronger storm is possible for later Friday into Saturday. This system looks to start mild as well with snow levels up around 7,000 feet Friday. But a cold front moving through could drop snow levels near the base Saturday. It's a little early for snowfall details, but we could see up to a foot of snow on the mountain. We will fine-tune the details all week.
The storm track may begin to shift to our north for the 2nd week of April, but weaker systems could possibly bring shots of rain and snow showers.
